Breyer Theo 1843 ZDS. A powerful draft horse native to France_ the Ardennes is one of the oldest draft horse breeds. Originating in the Ardennes region of France and Belgium_ these horses had to be hardy to work the rough terrain which was laden with forests and hills. They also provided transport for several military campaigns.
