This Salt Water Taffy is first cooked in small 10 to 25 pound batches in copper kettles over open fires. It is then pulled followed by being hand rolled on the marble slabs. Next it is cut with scissors into approximately 1 inch in diameter by 1/4 inch thick pieces. Finally the candy confection is hand wrapped in wax paper with twist ends.
