| Doe Hill Pepper Seeds (Capsicum annuum var. annuum). This miniature, golden-yellow pepper is a pre-1900 family heirloom from the Doe Hill area of Highland County, Virginia. The fruits are small and thick-walled, with a sweet, mild flavor when ripe. Doe Hill Pepper matures early and continues producing until the end of summer. The charming peppers resemble miniature pumpkins or persimmons.
